My name is Hope Hatton, 

 I am a licensed Coldwell Banker Realty agent for over 8 years on Oahu. 

Let's work together to help you get more transactions to the closing table!

 I have been a resident of Oahu for 30 years, a Hawaii real estate agent for almost 15 years,  8 of which have been with Coldwell Banker Realty. When I'm not busy working on my art or swimming in the ocean, I'm taking classes to improve my RE skills!  I have earned several designations including 

CRS, ABR, SRS and SRES. 

I have experience in closing many different types of transactions:

Description of Services per Transaction

Opening Escrow/ Inspections Phase:


  •  Introduction email providing a transaction timeline, with a copy of executed contract to listing agent, buyer agent, lender (if representing buyer)
  • Set up / modify your My Deals entry (our internal company accounting) and OIE (opening instructions to escrow) paperwork
  • Ensure contract, addenda, amendments, and all other paperwork are fully executed w/ proper signatures, initials, and dates, and alert any parties for corrections if necessary
  • Review broker's COOP form (if needed) for correct completion
  • Send all of the above to  CBR transaction manager, your branch office manager, and to escrow agent 
  • set up appointments and / or oversee paperwork for the J1 (home inspector, SRPDS, condo docs*, repair requests) within contractual deadlines
  • Schedule any repairs requested and agreed upon during J1 remedy; inform all parties upon repair completion

Loan Phase

  •  Ensure all document receipts are received and fully executed, CCd to all parties and sent to your branch office TM to add to the file. 
  • Update deadlines resulting from amendments or extensions, and ensure your office manager, the CBR transaction system, lender, and escrow receive amendments / extensions / changes to the contract 
  • Maintain contact with escrow and lender throughout the transaction.
  •  CC all parties with weekly email updates on the status of the transaction
  • Schedule TIR and appraisal, provide results to all parties upon completion 


Closing Phase

  •   Schedule final walk-through
  • Review all paperwork for outstanding items and alert necessary parties
  • Schedule signing appointment for client and agent
  •  Confirm all signings by all parties
  • · Confirm final recording from escrow  and inform agents
  • Send agent and represented client completed file including executed contract, amendments, agreements, addendums, receipts, escrow closing docs, and communications
  • Send final closing docs to transaction management system and/ or your office manager ( if given shared access)
  • Review file with your branch office manager/ transaction management system and alert necessary parties to any missing documents, to complete the file.

 Listing or Buyer Side                                                                                                              $475.00

 Dual Agency Transaction                                                                                                     $675.00

Transactions that last more than 2 months                                                                $600.00

Transactions that fall through and restart with a backup offer                      $600.00

               Fee for Transaction setup with cancellation - no closing                                      $50.00               


Going on vacation? Email me for pricing on a partial transaction completion- I'll take over while you are away!


 TRANSACTION ASSISTANT FEE to be PAID AT CLOSING 


 * CONDO DOCS - The party responsible for prepayment of condo docs must order on their own, if the party needs me to order for them,

we will arrange for them to call me during the order with their credit card on hand.
